What we offer
Boy or girl?
One can see if it is a boy or a girl with an ultrasound. The best time to see the sex of the child is around week 18. Sometimes we are able to determine the gender as early as week 15
What is ultrasound?
Ultrasonography is a type of examination where one uses sound waves of higher frequency than the human ear can hear. The sound waves are sent through the skin's surface and propagate in the body tissues. They return to the ultrasound device and create an image on the screen. In this way one can see the fetus, amniotic fluid and placenta location.

The ultrasound apparatus we use is called Voluson E8. This is a machine from General Electric Healthcare which creates very good 2, 3 and 4D images, and so-called HDlive viewing.
