Blood flow measurements/Doppler

Doppler tells how fast and in which direction the blood flows, and whether there is little or great vascular resistance.

For example, the pregnant woman will have a somewhat increased risk of preeclampsia (preeclampsia) and less growth in the fetus due to high resistance in the uterine vessels at 24 weeks. If the blood flow in the uterine vessels is affected at 24 weeks of pregnancy, the pregnant woman is referred to, for example, Rikshospitalet.
